Jeffrey A. Beaumont will speak at the CACM Southern California Law Seminar on February 10, 2012 in Anaheim. The law seminar brings together industry experts to explore new legislation and case law affecting community management professionals for the year ahead.

Beaumont Gitlin Tashjian attended the CAI Community Association Law Seminar in Palm Springs on January 26 – 28, 2012. The seminar, presented by the College of Community Association Lawyers, explored important legislative issues and emerging trends that are critical to community association professionals.

BGT’s Senior Partner, Jeffrey A. Beaumont, spoke at the CAI Legal Forum: California Communities on October 21st in Long Beach, CA.
The one-day event, at The Queen Mary, focused on critical community association legal issues for community managers, association board members and other industry leaders. Mr. Beaumont discussed various issues on collecting delinquent assessments.
The CAI Legal Forum offered two education programs – one for community managers and one for board members and other homeowner leaders.
Beaumont Gitlin Tashjian sponsored the Legal Forum hosted by CAI’s eight California chapters and CAI’s California Legislative Action Committee.

Beaumont Gitlin Tashjian sponsored the Bike MS: Coastal Challenge at San Buenaventura Park in Ventura, CA on October 1-2, 2011. This premier cycling event raises money to support education, advocacy, research and local programs that enhance the quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis and their families. BGT’s Senior Partner, Jeffrey A. Beaumont, will be riding with his cycling team, “Fast Friday,” to raise money for the cause.

Jeffrey Beaumont and Lisa Tashjian attended the Annual Strategic Planning Meeting for the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) of the Community Associations Institute on October 7th in Irvine, CA. The meeting brought together CLAC representatives to discuss 2011 legislation and pending 2012 legislation, as well as to strategize what position and action CLAC will take on new and pending bills.

Beaumont Gitlin Tashjian sponsored and exhibited at the Homeowners Association Marketplace hosted by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Community Associations Institute on September 27th at the Skirball Cultural Center. The marketplace was an opportunity for community association board members, HOA managers and homeowners to meet and greet with vendors exhibiting their services and sharing their industry expertise.
